Prior to employment, each applicant’s background is thoroughly checked. Background reviews include employment history verification, motor vehicle record review, criminal history check, drug screens and essential function testing to verify physical qualification. Every driver is tested on general awareness of hazardous material, emergency response, cargo securement, security awareness, extreme weather driving, and related rules and regulations.
Kiattana Transport offers a tange of training programs that can be designed and customized to suit individual client-specific needs. Prior to nay contract execution, a team of route surveyor sets off to identify the optimum route in terms of distance as well as safety. Depending on the nature of the products carried, sometimes the best route is not the shortest one, but one with safe roads or away from urban areas. Any road damages or obstacles are noted for the drivers of that particular route.
Our fleet strictly comprise of top-of-the-line European and Japanese Trucks to ensure the highest level of durability and fuel efficiency. Names that we trust include Volvo, Scannia, Fuso and Isuzu. Kiatthana Transportal so has an in-house vehicle maintenance facility with an experienced team of licensed mechanics.
All of our vehicles are equipped with real-time GPS tracking technology. Our trucks’ current location and speed are monitored by trained personnel at different transportation hubs. Monitoring staff are alarmed when vehicles go off route or exceed speed limits, and are able to contact the driver immediately to prevent any undesired outcomes.
All of our vehicles are equipped with both driver-facing and road- facing cameras. Our drivers are aware they are being monitored, hence are naturally focused on safe driving. Drivers are alerted by the monitoring staff if the drivers show any sign of drowsiness or lack of attention. In addition, causes of road accidents can be verified with VDO recording evidence.
In the rare case of road accident, Kiattana Transport has emergency response vehicles that can be dispatched from every transportation hubs. The vehicles have all the necessary equipment and tools to combat fire and chemical spills.
